A Core Outcome Set for athletic performance-based training intervention over time

There is a lack of agreement on ‘what to measure’ in studies addressing athletic performance in athletes. This research project aims to identify a Core Outcome Set (COS) for athletic performance-based training intervention over time. This study will focus on what should be measured, and we will assess ‘how’ to measure each core outcome. Developing this COS will involve five steps: 1) Register with the COMET database and publish the protocol; 2) Identification of reported outcome domains and instruments by conducting a systematic review (SR) of effectiveness; 3) A qualitative SR; 4) A two-round e-Delphi survey; 5) A consensus meeting with stakeholders.
